Ingredients & Substitutions

  • Wraps- You’ll need 4 burrito-sized wraps or 8 smaller taco-sized flour tortillas for this recipe.
  • Shredded Chicken Breast- Use rotisserie chicken, leftover chicken, or freshly cooked chicken. You can prepare your own shredded chicken in a slow cooker or in a skillet on the stove.
  • Southwest Chipotle Sauce- This sauce adds a mild kick and plenty of flavor to the wraps. It’s simple to make, but you can also use store-bought chipotle dressing or chipotle mayo if you prefer.
  • Cherry Tomatoes- Cherry tomatoes add freshness, flavor, and moisture to the wrap, helping keep it from tasting dry.
  • Lettuce- Lettuce adds a crisp texture to every bite. If you’re not a fan of lettuce, spinach or arugula are great alternatives.

How to Make Chipotle Chicken Wrap

Step 1: Make the Chipotle Sauce

Prepare the chipotle sauce by blending all the ingredients together in a food processor or blender. If you prefer a shortcut, you can use store-bought chipotle dressing or mayonnaise instead.

Wash and chop the cucumber, tomatoes, avocado, and lettuce. Set the prepared vegetables aside so they are ready to add to the wraps.
